How to Rent a Holiday Home

  1. Firstly, search for a property that suit’s you, search by County - just pick the county, in which you are interested from our list. If you’d prefer, try the map of Ireland and select a county using your mouse.
  2. Send an enquiry to the advertiser of your chosen property using our contact form at the end of the advert. Make sure you include your phone number so that the advertiser can call you back - sometimes that's more convenient and more immediate.
  3. The advertiser will respond to you directly and will let you know the availability, required deposit and payment dates as well as all the arrival and departure arrangements.
  4. Enjoy your stay.

Safety message from Irish holiday Homes.ie

Responding to an online advert should be no different to how you would respond to an advert in a local newspaper or other traditional classified advert publications.

Our advertisers are either private holiday home owners, or property managers. All enquiries you make via this website are sent directly to the property owner, manager or agent and your booking is with them, not with Irish Holiday Homes.ie.

As you are transacting with a third party we advise you to take due care and diligence when paying for your accommodation and to make sure all your questions are answered before you make payment, just as you would if you were buying a product from an advert in your local paper or eBay.

However as always please be vigilant for suspicious behaviour:

NEVER WIRE FUNDS VIA WESTERN UNION, MONEYGRAM or any other money transfer service - if you are requested to, it is almost certainly a scam.
DO NOT reply to text messages from an unknown sender that does not have a return phone number.
DO NOT give out your bank details.
ALWAYS try to deal with people you can meet in the person and provide a landline number.
